Achleitner is a Tyrolean family business with a long tradition, founded in 1932 as a small blacksmith shop in Kundl, Tyrol. In 1953, at the age of 15, Franz Achleitner took over his parents’ business, and just a few years later, the first vehicle assembly hall was built!

In the years that followed, a total of 14 tire retail branches were gradually established (Achleitner and TyrolPneu). In 2004, management was finally handed over to the third generation, sons Franz and Helmut Achleitner. The company is a multi-generational family business—the fourth generation has now joined the company. Florian Achleitner, together with his father Helmut and Stefan Frank, leads the company’s operations.

Through high-quality products, customized solutions for a wide range of applications, flexibility in order fulfillment, and expertise developed over many years in each of these sectors, Achleitner has earned an internationally respected reputation.

Our business activities encompass the tire and wheel retail sector as well as the restaurant industry.

The Alpine inn “Brechhornhaus” in the Kitzbühel Alps has been owned by the Achleitner family since 1985—right next to it are two chalets built in the traditional style.
